Aggeliki was born in Athens in 1974. Her studies include a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Middlesex University of London (1997) and several seminars and awards in furniture design and Visual Merchandising.
She started her career working in architectural offices, but over the past 15 years, she has worked as a Project Manager in renowned companies in the field of furniture design and architectural materials, specializing in projects involving mainly office buildings and workspace interiors. She was Brand Manager for Knoll in Greece and has worked with several international design brands.
Taught by the artist and her teacher Nikos Navridis the technique of "matter painting" she began to create art by painting abstract objects using visual language, shapes, volumes, utilizing various colors in combination with natural materials. Through her non-figurative art, she wants to create multi-read works with an emphasis on the structure and the composition of the shapes. She has participated in art events in Athens galleries, in collective art shows and in several official municipal exhibitions. In February 2016 she was the rapporteur on the design and conduct of the workshop of “Team Bonding Event Thought Art - Jackson Pollock's Art” for developing creative relationships between employees of a large multinational insurance company.
Her involvement in Elephant Design derives from years of personal friendship and collaboration.
Her love for architecture and design, centered on the human factor and the needs that arise from the users’ lifestyle is a great asset for Elephant Design.
She finds a great inspiration behind Marcel Duchamp's words: “Art is all a matter of personality”.
