The project reimagines a former office interior as a contemporary showroom for Boutzounis Wines & Spirits, shifting the space from a condition of utility to one of experience and curation.
The design is structured around a clear spatial hierarchy, where a central tasting area operates as the core of the composition, while display and hospitality zones unfold peripherally. This transition is reinforced through a controlled material palette—warm wood surfaces, textured neutral backdrops, and dark metal frames—establishing a balance between tactility and precision.
Custom-designed wine displays introduce rhythm and verticality, transforming the product into an architectural element. Integrated lighting further articulates these surfaces, creating depth and emphasizing the curated nature of the collection. A continuous linear light gesture at floor level subtly guides movement, enhancing spatial flow and orientation.
The intervention negotiates between the existing shell and the new identity, retaining the structural grid while softening it through suspended acoustic elements and layered lighting. At the same time, key architectural moments—such as the curved column and the bar—are reinterpreted as focal points, incorporating branding through minimal yet expressive gestures.
The result is a cohesive environment where spatial clarity, material warmth, and controlled lighting converge to create a setting that supports both presentation and experience.
