Located in a central commercial road, Health Care is a new proposal for the refurbishing of an existing pharmacy. The service area that includes the pharmacy and the nursing area, extends to the ground floor of the store and covers an area of 76.00 sqm, while the laboratory is located on a 18.00 sqm loft.
The actual design derived from the decision to renovate the whole facade which after many interventions on the aesthetic and the construction level, was in need of a total architectural intervention. Our goal was to highlight the dynamics of the outline of the space as it is an elongated ground floor with sides of 3.75m. for 11.55m. with a street view and a Γ-shaped floor plan. The new facade is influenced by the dynamic shape of the cross used as a view element but also as a light fixture.
The owners' desire was this new space to be not just a pharmacy, but a multifaceted health and wellness space that corresponds to a new way of living healthier as well as to promote natural products by using such materials in its reconstruction.
